On 28 October 2023, Indorama Ventures Vietnam team participated in the “Towards Successful Implementation of EPR Regulation” workshop, hosted by PRO Vietnam (*).

At the heart of the workshop were discussions on extended producer responsibility (EPR), a pioneering initiative that compels producers and importers to manage waste associated with their products and packaging. Furthermore, they proudly displayed Indorama Ventures’ global achievement – the successful recycling of an astounding 100 billion post-consumer PET bottles. As an integral member of Indorama Ventures, the company’s PET operations are at the forefront as an r-PET preform specialist in Vietnam, contributing significantly to this remarkable milestone.

This workshop served as a valuable platform to connect with sustainability enthusiasts, with discussions brimming with insights for a greener future.
