During May 2024, the Indorama Ventures team in Vietnam hosted two essential internal training programs, “Principles in Finance” and “Level up Microsoft Excel skills”. These specialized training sessions were professionally conducted by the Finance Department’s in-house experts: Mr. Tao Tung Lam, who covered Fundamental Finance Principles, and Ms. Le Thi Phu, who led the practical MS Excel workshops – both designed to provide employees with valuable cross-functional and career-enhancing competencies.

The “Principles in Finance” training program provided employees with a deeper understanding of how their individual roles contribute to a company’s overall financial health. Trainees received practical tips on managing both company budgets and personal finances effectively, equipping them to make informed financial decisions in their professional and personal lives.

Following this insightful program, a Microsoft Excel training session was designed for employees in Sales, Inside Sales & Planning, HR, and anyone interested in enhancing their spreadsheet skills. The session explored Excel’s dynamic features, equipping participants with the skills to streamline tasks, create compelling data visualizations, and extract valuable insights from the data. By mastering these skills, employees are able to boost their productivity as well as simplify their workflow.
