In late March 2025, Indorama Ventures Vietnam held two focused training sessions to advance corporate governance and sustainability within the organization. These sessions, led by expert trainers from Indorama Ventures, provided invaluable insights and reinforced the commitment to responsible business operations and environmental stewardship.

Corporate governance is the foundation of a well-structured and ethical organization. To deepen employees’ understanding, Kongkun Tribunjongsilpa and Kulawat Puntarikkotok from the Corporate Governance department, conducted a training session on the “Code of Conduct and Whistleblower Policy”. The training highlighted key governance concepts, best practices, and the mechanisms that ensure transparency, accountability, and ethical business conduct.

By incorporating a robust governance framework, Indorama Ventures Vietnam upholds the highest corporate standards and ensures a culture of integrity in line with Indorama Ventures’ global mission.

The second session focused on sustainability, with Tuangrat Leungcharoenwattana and Neeracha Sriphonkrang, from the Sustainability department, guiding employees in practical eco-friendly practices and creating awareness of sustainable solutions. Topics included minimizing environmental impact across energy consumption, renewable energy, water management, greenhouse gas emissions, and waste handling. Participants also engaged in discussions around biodiversity conservation, sustainable supply chain management practices, employee health and safety, and effective stakeholder engagement strategies.

With a dynamic two-way exchange of knowledge and experiences, team members in Vietnam shared information on ongoing projects and challenges, while the Sustainability team provided global updates and strategic direction based on the Indorama Ventures Global Sustainability Report. The comprehensive report outlines the broader sustainability strategy, which integrates environmental performance, social impact, governance, results, and future targets.
