Building a holistic work environment through health and wellness activities

22.09.2024

In support of its commitment to employee well-being, Indorama Ventures Vietnam promotes a holistic work environment that nurtures both physical health and professional development. Aligning with this priority, the company organized a series of health-focused activities across its Cu Chi, Tay Ninh, and Bac Ninh plants in August.

Health screening program at Tay Ninh and Cu Chi plants

In collaboration with Xuyen A Hospital, the factory launched a comprehensive health screening program for all employees. This initiative included thorough blood tests, clinical examinations, and breast cancer screenings, benefiting a total of 425 employees.

In addition, specialized medical staff from the hospital led training sessions on critical topics such as stroke prevention, screening techniques, first aid, and post-stroke care. Seventy-two employees actively participated in these training sessions, gaining life-saving knowledge and skills to apply both in the workplace and in their daily lives.

A unique sports day at the Bac Ninh plant

The Bac Ninh plant hosted a dynamic sports event that combined physical exercise with work-related skills. Employees participated in activities such as relay races with material carts, building bottle towers, and sorting preforms – each promoting teamwork and reinforcing key skills essential to their roles in the plant.

Mooncakes for all employees

In joyful celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, mooncakes were distributed to employees across all three plants and the head office, further encouraging a sense of community and shared appreciation within the company.

These initiatives reflect Indorama Ventures Vietnam’s dedication to creating a positive and supportive work environment for all employees. By investing in their health and well-being, we boost morale, enhance productivity, and create a strong sense of cohesion among team members, driving collaboration and shared success.
