This September, Indorama Ventures’ Vietnam team enthusiastically set out on an unforgettable team-building experience – “The Great Journey” – trading mundane office routines for sun-drenched beaches and meaningful bonding moments along Nha Trang’s stunning, wave-kissed coastline.

To kick things off, the team shared an exhilarating train ride that set the stage for a day of excitement and bonding. Despite the blazing sun, the four teams demonstrated exceptional teamwork and determination as they tackled a series of challenging games. These activities went beyond physical endurance, mirroring essential workplace skills such as effective communication, strategic thinking, resource management, agility, and innovation.

A key moment was the interpretation of the event’s symbol, the Circle – representing essential values such as a shared purpose, collaboration, openness, transparency, trust, accountability, connection, unity, and continuous improvement. Mr. Vinay Bhardwaj, Country Head and Vice Chairman, captured its meaning perfectly: “A circle can mean many things, but alone, it may only be a zero. When many circles connect, they form a powerful atom of strength, embodying our ‘One Team, One Dream’ spirit”. His words inspired everyone to carry the Circle’s message into their daily work.

The day concluded with a gala dinner at the Marriott Nha Trang beach, filled with energetic team performances and heartfelt reflections. Employees, from junior personnel to those with over 20 years of experience, shared stories and moments that highlighted the intergenerational bonds uniting the whole team.

As the 2024 team-building program draws to a close, the lasting impact of this experience will serve as a foundation for a more cohesive workforce, driving the company toward even greater success.
