Report to:
EHS Manager
Main duties:
- Implement, and monitor compliance with company HSE policies and procedures; liaise with local authorities to ensure regulatory compliance; and define and execute environmental and safety compliance plans, including internal and external audits.
- Firefighting & Emergency Response: Plan, implement, and report periodic inspections, maintenance, and calibration of fire protection systems and equipment; identify fire risks and coordinate corrective actions; prepare annual fire prevention and rescue plans; organize fire drills; and liaise with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police during inspections.
- Control and implement EHS inspections and emergency response plans for incidents such as fire and explosion, chemical leakage, and first aid cases.
- Ensure machinery and equipment safety by conducting periodic and pre-use inspections and calibrations, monitoring maintenance activities, identifying hazards, and coordinating corrective actions with relevant departments.
- Chemical Safety: Ensure compliance with chemical safety requirements by inspecting proper storage, segregation, and arrangement of chemicals to prevent fire, explosion, and spills, and verifying the completeness of chemical records, including MSDS/SDS.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare investigation reports, and propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Check, monitor, and ensure contractors’ compliance with EHS requirements, including verification of licenses, permits, and on-site safety performance.
- Conduct regular plant-wide Gemba walks, including 5S audits, to identify hazards and occupational safety risks, monitor compliance with production safety regulations, and promptly implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Safety Training & Implementation: Organize and deliver safety training (firefighting, PPE usage, etc.), maintain complete training records, and conduct daily site walk-throughs to ensure compliance with legal and company safety requirements.
- Prepare bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual EHS reports on the Corporate EHS System and submit reports to authorities as required.
- Plan and organize site safety programs (Safety Week, Safety Month, Earth Day, Fire Drills, etc.).
- Monitor and track the implementation and utilization of the approved HSE budget at the factory.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the EHS Manager.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: University graduate or equivalent.
- Good English communication skills
- Computer Skill: MS Office
- At least 2 years’ experience in Environment, Health & Safety.
- Certified knowledge in ISO14001, OHSAS18001
- Strong knowledge of local and international occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively collaborate within a team.
Working time:
Monday – Saturday (8:00-16:30)
