Production Supervisor
Job description
Purpose:
• Organize production activities to ensure the completion of the approved plan.
• Ensure security and safety of people, goods and equipment and machinery systems during the working shift.
Main duties:
• Prepare conditions and resources ready for a production shift (ground, raw materials, HR, …).
• Deploy production according to approved plans.
• Direct the implementation of procedures and instructions for cleaning equipment, workshops, regulations on 5S, Pass223, GMP, HACCP and regularly monitor and remind compliance with these regulations.
• Check and supervise throughout the production operation to ensure that the operations & job handling are in accordance with the procedures.
• Control the use of supplies/materials in the production shift (consumption norm of materials, raw materials for a unit, labor norm, …etc…)
• Coordinate with maintenance department to implement maintenance plan.
• Responsible for receiving and handing over the results of maintenance, mold maintenance, … etc… after the maintenance department completes the work.
• Instruct operators & packers to record & update statistics during production.
• Make reports on production status in each shift and keep production records.
• Train & coach staffs, ensure compliance with labor regulations, factory rules and regulations on occupational safety, fire prevention and fighting, operating procedures in production.
• Perform other tasks as required by Production Manager
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Good English communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
Technical knowledge in areas such as industrial electricity, automation, mechanics, machine building, mechatronics, industrial engineering, and production management.
Knowledge of industrial operations and production management.
Knowledge of the plastic manufacturing industry, ISO standards, and HACCP systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Able to work independently and perform well under high pressure.
